Description: At the beginning of 1900 an old Florentine diplomat chose the Chianti area as the place where to build a villa while he was about to finish his last task in Buenos Aires. This residence had to be the suitable place to keep relationship whit the world which had belonged to him all his life. He finally decided for "Coret di Valle" on the main road to Florence. A few years before the famous architect Poggi had restored Florence which had to appear more gorgeous as the "Capital of Italy". His unique style characterizes all the important buildings of the time and the villa at Corte di Valle followed the same stylistic canons in order to be up to illustrious guest. The othe houses at the estate are typical of the farm settlements in the Chianti area.

By 1999 the restoration of the villa and the sorrounding buildings has been completed. Men's love has been essential to bring back ancient brightness to the land: the vineyards and the olive trees give their fruits again, the wood and the small lake are now accessible. The "extravergine" olive oil is produced by the two thousands tree of the estate. The D.O.C. Chianti Wine comes from the 15 hectares of vineyards, partly facing the villa and partly situated on the other side of the hill. Both the olive oil and the wine are sold at the farm. Moreover, according to an old Tuscan tradition, the "saffron" experimental growing was started in 2001.



Restaurant: The restaurant opens in the morning with excellent breakfast suitable for the international demand but also suggesting the tastes of Chianti land. In the evening our guests can enjoy local dishes of the Tuscan and Chianti tradition. From time we organize parties for our friends and the guests are invited (if they want to) to enjoy us. The cooking is made of simple things and use our expert friends' suggestions. It's needless saying that we use our olive oil and that the wine served at dinner comes from our cellar.




Hospitality: Corte di Valle mantains the structure of the traditional farm settlement with the Villa, the Hunting House, the House in the Wood and The Cellar. every place recalls a pleasant atmosphere, from the most romantic in the Villa to the most traditional in the House in the wood. Each room, furnished with ancient forniture, is equipped with minibar Tv Sat. and private bathroom. The swimming pool, the small lake andthe wood are at the guests' disposal. The beautiful lounges can lodge convention of about 15/20 people. The rooms are completely renewed, quiet and peaceful, still exhaling a scent of ancient wook and memories.
