 Description: Terrauzza on Sea is situated next to the legendary and splendid Jonian sea and in the ownwrship of descendentes of an ancient and aristocratic Spanish family called "Blanco". The farm produces fruit, including citrus fruit, olives,olive oil, grain, potatoes, marmalade and liqueurs. The farm also produces very beautiful artistic ceramics. It's possible to take part in courses of decoration leaded by the artist "Renata Emmolo". Services and Activities: "Terrauzza on Sea" is 60 Kmt from Catania Airport and 10 Kmt. from Siracusa city, famous throughout the world for its archeological buildings, including several museums devotes to antiquities and Archimede's tomb, along with other places connected with ancient Greek and Roman mytology and early Christianity. In 40 Kmt. range away is Noto, a city known for its baroque style, the natural Reserve of "Vendicari", the necropolis of "Pantalica" (visits for groups possible). Inside the farm : Babies games park, football and bowls grounds, bicycles and dinghy rent. Near the gate of the farm there's a bus stop from Siracusa . |
